Vankic China Real Estate Fund L.P. ("Vankic Fund") is a USD250 million China residential development fund managed by Bedrock Capital (HK) Limited, which is a fund management platform jointly established by KINETIC and China Vanke.
Real estate business is much more than the local nature of the physical assets. In many cases, the local business network and operating expertise play a critical role in the success of the investment. At KINETIC, we truly recognized the importance of the local business partners. It typically takes at least three years of intensive interactions with the companies, their senior management, market monitoring and thorough due diligence before we invest with any operating platforms. We are looking for like-minded partners with high integrity and strong desire to achieve operating excellence. Once we identify such partners, we always invest firm’s own capital alongside with them to align interests.
KINETIC’s investment process combines top-down and research-led directions setting for our investment strategy, with targeted bottom-up deal sourcing, rigorous evaluation and execution and value-added asset management. We constantly seek the most appropriate investment platforms, products and markets so as to better manage risks and improve investment performance.
